Beverley MacDougall Certified Practitioner (651) 714 -1777

In 1997, I was working in the Dialysis Unit of a London, Ontario hospital. I was a registered nurse and had been working in the Unit since 1975, after the birth of my first child, a son.

I had always wondered about and thought that there must be more to life. In 1977, I had a daughter, who grew up, challenging every word out of my mouth - which drove me for psychiatric help when she was about 7 years old.

So, I was seeing a psychiatrist whenever I would notice that my jaw was clenched. In 1994, my mother passed away. I was off work for 4 weeks but then returned to work. Soon after, a friend and I had taken Reiki, levels one and two. In 1996, I had come into possession of Barbara Brennan’s book, Hands of Light - which was very confusing. Then I received Light Emerging, which made sense to me - I realized that what had happened to me did not make me crazy - it was my third eye that opened. I signed up for An Introduction to Healing Science to be held in Toronto, Ontario, later in the year. Within a couple of months, I fell into a very deep depression. Every time I went to work, my heart rate would climb over 200 beats per minute. Finally a doctor in the Emergency Room sent me for an echocardiogram, which showed nothing wrong - and I was asked if I had any stress in my life. Well, little did I know that I was falling into a healing crisis - could not stop crying, heard my grandfather’s voice (he died when I was 9) saying -”It’s only a girl, it’s a waste of time”, which explained a lot. I was not good enough!

I was off work for 6 months. When I had been back to work for 2 weeks, it was time to go to the Introduction to Healing Science - and I felt like I finally had found something that would help me heal. I was off work for 2 weeks after this but was able to go back and work easily after that slight break.

At this time, my husband was asked to transfer his job from Canada to Minnesota. I was starting Barbara Brennan’s School in September of 2007.  In November 1997, we moved, leaving adult children and friends and family in Canada.

The four years of school were difficult, I would come home from school - in New Jersey and then in Florida - and argue constantly with my husband - about anything- even the way he said ‘Hi” on my return. It was a very difficult time. I graduated in 2001, and was really feeling like I was about 2 years old.

The Brennan healer I was seeing weekly went to California to do the stage 1 Frequencies of Brilliance training. On meeting her at a friend’s place the evening she returned, I was really scared of her. I couldn’t feel her anymore.

It took me 6 months to call her for a healing. The day I made the appointment, I heard: “Welcome home, Solara, you have been gone so long. We have missed you."

With the first frequencies session, I really didn’t feel anything. The next day I awoke to crying all day because nothing in my home belonged to me - it all belonged to my husband. The next day, it was an “OH MY GOD!” - and I cried all day again because everything in the house belonged to me. And this is how the healing progressed - crying all day with the false belief, then crying all day after the “OH MY GOD!”.

In 2002, Christine Day came to Minnesota to teach stage 1.  I have now completed Stage 12 and will do stages 13 and 14 in April 2010. Have the intervening years been easy - no. However, I am not the same person I was before Frequencies and I am blessed beyond belief with coming more and more into who I AM. A friend who has also done stage 12 and I were at a healing expo to present Frequencies. Two women went by and then came back to say “Ladies, we hope you don’t mind, but we have to tell you that you both just glow”. We placed our hands on the information sheets on our table and said, in the same breath “And that is directly related to this work.”
